    Associate Director of Student Life

    Maurice A. Smith has experience with being both Resident Advisor and Residence Director for many years before joining EHS in March of 2015. A native of Philadelphia PA, Maurice holds both a BFA and MBA degrees from Marymount Manhattan College. After spending several years in Las Angeles, CA. Maurice is excited to be back in NYC and is ready to ensure of

    Pace University Alumni Kathleen Hundersmarck was happy to join us in spring 2018. With a background in Higher Education and Hospitality she is very excited to become part of the EHS family. Her passion lies in providing a positive and creative environment for the people around her. She looks forward to this opportunity to empower residents to reach their full potential. During her free time she likes to play soccer, go to sporting events, travel, and try new NYC restaurants.

    Resident Advisor

    Coleen Corpuz is a Psychology major at Baruch College. Coleen has come to EHS from Maryland, but was originally born in the Philippines. Coleen enjoys spending time anywhere below 23rd street, and would love to suggest some fun places to you. Coleen recommends trying out all of the tourist attractions, like visiting Washington Square Park or walking the Brooklyn Bridge, but also try exploring the city for local spots.

    Nick Sanders is from Long Island, NY and is majoring in Management at Baruch College. Before becoming an RA, Nick worked as a Program Director for Suffolk County Council, BSA. Nick enjoys camping, hiking, ultimate frisbee and meeting new people. What Nick likes about EHS is the opportunity that it gives to students from all over the US and all across the globe. EHS’s events allow you to meet people with similar interests, and their buildings’ convenient locations allow you to explore NYC whenever you get time off from your studies.

  • Irine Thomas

    Irine Thomas

    Resident Advisor

    Irine Thomas is from Suffern, NY and is studying Biology at Baruch College. Before she became an EHS RA, Irine worked for EHS as a Brand Ambassador helping EHS promote its Social Media and Marketing. Outside of her busy schedule, Irine enjoys playing tennis, badminton, running track, dancing, and singing in both English and Malayalam. Irine enjoys learning and experiencing new cultures, traditions, and customs and plans to visit all of the museums in NYC to further enrich herself. She also enjoys trying new foods and is always on the hunt for new restaurants and dessert bars in NYC, which luckily for her there are plenty! What does Irine love about EHS? “I love the RAs, the events that they host and the great community that exists. I also love having a laundry system and gym right in our building. It is so convenient.”

    Resident Advisor

    Dante Novoa is an Accounting Major at Baruch College. After he’s done with school, Dante hopes to start his own startup and see it flourish into a big company. Dante is a Native New Yorker living in Hollis, Queens, but he also lived in Peru for 10 years. Dante enjoys playing chess, guitar, and reading about history when he has free time from work and school. He hopes to add cooking and bike riding to his list of hobbies this summer. He also wants to do some exploring in NYC for interesting buildings and landmarks. What does Dante love about EHS? “I love having a home away from home, great places to study, relax and meet new people in the library and events. In addition, all of the staff are very friendly and enhance the overall experience.”

  • Doni Rotunno

    Doni Rotunno

    Resident Advisor

    Doni Rotunno is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and moved to NYC to study Scenic Design at Marymount Manhattan College. When she isn't working on her next project, Doni enjoys exploring the city, reading, drawing, going to Broadway shows, and hanging out with her friends. Because Doni has a love for the arts, she also enjoys going to the many museums this city has to offer. "EHS has been such a big factor in adjusting to life in the city. Because of EHS I have met so many people from not only all over this city, but all over the world. And, with all the events that EHS offers, you get a chance to really meet the people in your building, but also have fun excursions in the city. NYC is one of the most convenient cities to live in, and it's great to live in a building that only adds to that".
